Cash Pay and Out of Network Superbills
Since insurance companies limit and restrict how much treatment and what areas I can treat in addition to unnecessary paperwork, I am choosing to be an out of network healthcare provider. I will be collecting payment at time of service, except for Personal Injury Protection (PIP) motor vehicle accident claims. PIP injuries will be the only insurance that I will be billing. I will provide a superbill, a receipt of payment and itemization of activitities, that you can submit to your insurance company for any out of network benefits you may have.
Contact your insurance company to learn what your out of network benefits are and the amount of your deductible. If you have a HSA account, you are able to use these funds for payment.
